  • Every decade since the 1730s and before the 1950s (with the exception of the 1810s and the 1930s) has produced a President.
  • One President (Calvin Coolidge) was born on Independence Day.
  • Only one President was born in June (George H.W. Bush) and in September (William H. Taft)
  • More Presidents have been born in the month of October (six) than any other month.
  • Only two Presidents share the same birthday, James Polk and Warren Harding were both born on November 2nd.
  • Jimmy Carter is the only President born on the first of a month.
  • Eight Presidents were born prior to the formation of the United States of America.
  • The only President born during open hostilities in wartime was John F. Kennedy, born just after American entry into World War I. Martin Van Buren was born during the American Revolution, but after hostilities had ended.
