Arul Nool

Arul Nool is a supplementary to Akilattirattu Ammanai, and this is also considered as a holy script of Ayyavazhi, an offshoot sect of Hinduism. This book contains the collection of messages which was given by Ayya Vaikundar to his Disciples (Citars).

The word Ukappatippu in Tamil denotes that 'the song of the Aeon. It is present in Arul Nool, the supplementary book to Akilattirattu Ammanai, the holy book of Ayyavazhi. This Ukappatippu is not to be confused with Uccippatippu, the noon Prayer.The Ukappatippu consists of six verses and each were chanted eleven times by the devotees in Pathis and Nizhal Thangals two times a day; at dawn and at dusk after the Panividai.

The word Ucchippatippu in Tamil means "Things to be chanted in the noon." This Ucchippatippu is not to be confused with Ukappatippu. This Ucchippatippu is the noon prayer chanted in Ayyavazhi Pathis and Nizhal Thangals excactly at 12.00 noon. This is found in Arul Nool the supplementary of Akilattirattu Ammanai, the source of Ayyavazhi mythology and the holy book of Ayyavazhi.
