Flaming

Hate to break it to you but Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not is the world's MOST LAMEST POLICY IN THE HISTORY OF WIKIPEDIA, Don't obey it too much plus the zoo tycoon articles will be LAME AND BORING and NOT FAIR IF NO OBJECT LIST. 82.17.81.154 (talk) 13:13, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but you have to follow it. If not, you will be banned. Flaming and starting arguements is another way to get yourself banned. Hate to break it to you, I've just reported you. ----- Cuddly Panda (talk · contribs) review me! |my chatroom] 00:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Peacemakers

{{help}} Is there any sort of peacemakers/arguement ending wikiproject? On the page for List of creatures in Primeval all users except for User:Nubula agree on alphabetizing the page, like most other lists are. However, despite being overruled in the vote, Nubula removed to alphabetizing and changed it back. Since then, Nubula has been reverting every edit I have done on the Primeval articles, even though they may be constructive and good. When I updated the infoboxes, Nubula reverted and stated in the edit summary; It's quicker to revert everything you've done to try and fix it. There were only a few picture links that needed to be changed. Please help me. I want to be able to edit these without being attacked! ----- Cuddly Panda (talk · contribs) review me! |my chatroom] 00:20, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like you need to go to Dispute resolution. You may want to start with a Request for comment - they're useful, from past experience, for those people who refuse to honour consensus. Happy wiking! NF24(radio me!) 00:42, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

F***!!!

{{help}} On the page A Rip in Time I'm trying to get the image to show up on the infobox, located at Template:Infobox primeval book. But the f***ing thing doesn't work! I've tried to be patient, I asked for help before (what a help that was), but it's hard to stay cool with an asshole undoing everything you're trying to update! So can someone fix this before I have to go into therapy? ----- Cuddly Panda (talk · contribs) review me! |my chatroom] 12:28, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cuddly Panda. I've had a look at the article and it isn't clear exactly which image you're trying to insert. Can you provide a wikilink to the image?
Secondly, please refrain from personal attacks against Nebula -- even if he is the bad guy and is totally in the wrong, Wikipedia has a strong No Personal Attacks policy, in part because it will only encourage people to retaliate and be more agressive.
I have deactivated the help tag you inserted, feel free to re-insert it when you've answered the question that is required in order to help you: What image?
I'll check back here next time I'm online

Rfwoolf (talk) 12:51, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm. Maybe the infobox is broken. The image, Rfwoolf, is Image:ARipinTimecover.jpg.jpg. I've tried various things to get it to work without luck. I wondered whether the syntax didn't like the doubled ".jpg" but it's not working with any images. In any event, if you click "what links here" for the infobox template, you'll see that none of the few articles it is transcluded in have a working image. By the way, to second Rfwoolf, making comments such as you did above, regardless of the others actions, can ultimately result in a block. It's also totally ineffective to do anything but inflame a situation, and destroys your credibility. If you have a dispute with someone, and you want to tell others the problem, describe the offensive action. Your editorializing of it doesn't add anything.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 13:00, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The infobox is definatelt messed in some way. I tried the same with Primeval Funfax. Can we get an expert over? ----- Cuddly Panda (talk · contribs) review me! |my chatroom] 10:34, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made the infobox work. There is only one problem left. The automatic size of the picture does not work. You are able to adjust the size by adding the number of pixels to the name of the image as I did within the article. So for the moment (as long as the infobox is working, I would suggest to leave it that way, because this gives the possibility to adjust the picture to the needs of it's content (perhaps bigger for a cover with many details. I hope I could help you.--Thw1309 (talk) 12:22, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've deactivated the {{helpme}}. You must type the image name only in the infobox. For example, if the image was Image:Example.jpg you would just type Example.jpg. Also, it appears that a picture size of 150px is defined in the code, so you can't change it without directly editing the infobox. NF24(radio me!) 12:26, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He is right, it really works correct now. When I first tried the changes, the result was a picture of about 10 centimeters instead of 150 px. Sometimes I hate this wikipedia software.--Thw1309 (talk) 12:32, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No personal attacks

Please don't make personal attacks like calling another user an asshole like you did on your user page. They might be cheesing you off, but that doesn't make it okay. Two wrongs don't make a right. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 16:32, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of creatures in ParaWorld

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of creatures in ParaWorld, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of List of creatures in ParaWorld. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Zookeeper Collection.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Zookeeper Collection.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:01, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Wildife Park 2.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Wildife Park 2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use.
