Boris Berman (musician)

Boris Berman is a Russian pianist and pedagogue (b. Moscow, April 3 1948).

He was a student of Lev Oborin at the Moscow Conservatory. He made is debut in Moscow in 1965 and emigrated to Israel in 1973. In 1979 he went to the U.S. and taught at Brandeis University, Indiana University at Bloomington, and Yale. He has recorded the complete piano works of Prokofiev for the Chandos label among other recordings.
