Not alot to say about myself, other than my area of expertise is in the geography and history of Texas. I've made many trips across the state on my motorcycle and have hundreds of photos and bits of knowledge I would like to share. I've also lived in almost every portion of the state; the deep southern end and far western are the only ones I've never called home. I have alot of useless knowledge relating to the towns I've lived in (Lubbock, Kilgore, New Braunfels, Longview, Tyler and Irving) as well as the small towns that lie between them. I'm also a big fan of US Highway 80; I tend to see it as our own little version of Route 66, but even better since a large portion of US 80 in Texas still exists. It makes for an excellent afternoon ride.
