Louie, Louie is Motörhead's title track of their third single. It was released as a 7" vinyl single in 1978.

The reverse cover carries the latin motto "NIL ILLEGITUM CARBORUNDUM" (which roughly translates to "Don't let the bastards grind you down").

"Louie, Louie", originally written by Chuck Berry is covered with "Tear Ya Down" and appears later on the The Best Of Motörhead compilation.
