Riverport is a community at the mouth of Nova Scotia's LaHave River. It is located around a cove on the west side of the Kingsburg peninsula between the communities of Rose Bay and Kingsburg. Like other towns on the South Shore the area was originally founded by the Foreign Protestants. In the 19th century it was a prosperous fishing and shipbuilding centre.
