Champignac

The Count of Champignac is a fictional character in the Spirou comic books.

An old aristocrat, he is a rich mansion owner and a mad scientist. He likes to create several chemical substances out of different kinds of mushrooms, which give extraordinary effects such as super-strength, resisting water pressure, aging or even turning people Black. Champignac is also a brilliant electronician and builds incredible machines. Sometimes, he is also an astronomer and astrophysician, and he often made contacts with aliens.
