The Blue Train travels in South Africa between Pretoria and Cape Town. It is one of the most luxurious train journeys in the world. It boasts gold tinted picture windows, in sound proofed, full carpeted compartments. Since 1923, the Blue Train has been synonymous with opulence of First Class rail travel.

It is also the anglicized form of the "Train Bleu," a famous train of the La Compagnie des Wagons-Lits that ran between Paris and the French Riviera.

It is also the name given to the U.S. Postal Service cycling team when working as a team in a team time trial, often with devastating effects.
