Yello is a popular Swiss electronica band made up of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank. They are probably most well-known for their single "Oh Yeah" which featured a rich mix of electronic music and vocals manipulation.

Their sound is characterised by a particularly Italian (Swiss?) feel and often by manipulated vocals, making the vocalist sound dramatically different on various tracks.

Dieter Meier came to the band as an already-wealthy individual. He joined Boris Blank who was a composer and arranger. They began their career as Yello in the late 1970's.
