Fort Worth is a large city in the State of Texas that is about 60 miles east of Dallas, Texas and forms part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The city has a population of 542,504 (2000 Census) with approximately 1,000,000 in the suburban area surrounding the city.
