"When You Look Me in the Eyes"
Song

"When You Look Me in the Eyes" is a song by American pop rock band Jonas Brothers. The song was released as the band's third single from their self-titled second album Jonas Brothers in 2008. This is one of the songs played in the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Concert movie.

Versions

The band made two versions of the song.

First version

The first version was made when the boys were younger and when the youngest brother's voice, Nicholas sounded higher and more up-tone. Nicholas shares the lead vocals with his brother Joe. The song was on Nicholas Jonas's solo album.

Second Version

The second version was sung by the Jonas Brothers (Nicholas and Joseph) Nicholas sings the lead vocal and plays the piano. While Joseph sings back up. Nicholas' voice is much deeper in this version and several lines have been changed.

Changed Lyrics

  • First version: "I've been looking for that someone, I can't make it on my own."
  • Second version: "I've been looking for that someone, I'll never make it on my own."

  • First version: "How long will I be waiting to become a better man?"
  • Second version: "How long will I be waiting to be with you again?"

  • First version: "Every day, I start to realize..."
  • Second version: "Moving On, I start to realize..."

At The end

  • First version: "When you look me in the eyes I catch a glimpse of heaven. I find my paradise."
  • Second version: "When I hold you in my arms I know that it's forever. I just gotta let you know I never wanna let you go."

This song is about Nick's girlfriend Jocelyne Mitchell and Joe's girlfriend Anisha Boodram
