Again, if you would like to contribute, please do not butcher normal English conventions. Republican does not link to the same place as United States Republican Party. As a proper noun it should be capitalized, while "born" should not. --Jiang 08:38, 30 Dec 2003 (UTC)
You're still butchering the links. Please stop. You may also want to read our NPOV policy. --Jiang 09:01, 30 Dec 2003 (UTC)
You really need to follow Jiang's advice. You will notice that several users have already reverted all of your additions to Al Gore because they are POV. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia, please learn how to write with a neutral voice. RickK 16:35, 31 Dec 2003 (UTC)
- Chris, please stop your biased edits. You should not want to build the reputation of a troll here: we would welcome your neutral edits to subjects you know about. If you continue to bias the Gore article, you will turn more and more Wikipedians against you, even those of us who happen to support Gore and like him as you do. - Chris, one example would be "Clinton bolstered his ticket with more than just another Southern baby boomer he gave it the political acumen of a man who was groomed to aspire to the Presidency". If you can't see how that is obviously biased in Gore's favor, you need to spend some time at Wikipedia:NPOV. Many of your other additions are less objectionable, though they often use words that nudge the article into being more and more slanted towards a pro-Gore stance. I'd suggest leaving the Gore article alone: your emotions run too high on this issue, obviously. I often avoid articles I know I am too emotionally involved in. Perhaps find another corner of Wikipedia to work in? Just a suggestion. Jwrosenzweig 20:44, 31 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Please read the Wikipedia:Naming conventions (capitalization), Wikipedia:Manual of style, and most importantly, the various pages linked from Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers. --Jiang 03:00, 1 Jan 2004 (UTC)
