Vandalism by 217.23.238.227

Hi, I have seen you recently reverted changes by this user ... and he has edited more articles since then, e.g. Protocol (computing). Maybe you could have a look, thanks! - 83.254.215.235 (talk) 17:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done and warned – I'll keep an eye on that IP address for the next few days, thanks for the tip αlεxmullεr 20:31, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks :) - 83.254.215.235 (talk) 21:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

edit to wikipedia talk:WIkiProject China

The removed material was archived to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject China/Archive/December 2007. Please do not revert again. --Slashem (talk) 08:06, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies. I was using huggle, which moves quite fast, and the edit was incredibly large αlεxmullεr 09:12, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Deletion by 59.167.45.168

Howdy! Just saw your message on 59.167.45.168's talk page about the AfD thingys he/she has put on a number of websites. Sorry this is brief, I'm just about to head out for work - he/she seems to have focused on a large number of The Bill characters pages, for example Liz Rawton, Debbie McAllister etc - I have just quickly added a link to the bio page on Liz Rawton's page (www.thebillbios.co.uk)... Anything you can do at all/advise? Cheers! BNC85 (talk) 18:57, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this is a very interesting case - there's nothing to stop him adding the PROD tags, he's perfectly allowed to. And you should only really remove them if they can fulfil the reason for PROD'ing, which I'm not sure they do at the moment... you can either remove the PROD tags from the articles and face the possibility of challenging them at AFD, or tidy up the articles and then remove the tags, or just leave them for deletion. None of the situations are fantastic, unfortunately αlεxmullεr 23:20, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a bot running on this account? Oore (talk) 20:47, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm using huggle... and yep, it's so damn fast ;) αlεxmullεr 20:48, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SEC

Sorry i am not well Wiki schooled yet but will get there. I was unable to post to your talk becuase you had me blocked. I should have used a different approach other than deleting the article. Live and learn. About OJ Simpson, he killed people, the party targeted in the article was one of dozens in an office for insider trading. Because his name is unique he will pay a hire price than all others convicted as there names fade into cyberspace. We know who the posts are coming from and it is clearly an antogonist wanting to keep this old conviction in the news. Thanks for your patience with this. Cdcflies (talk) 21:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No need to apologise at all - I'm sorry for blocking you, and as you seem to understand what you did, it should never happen again. Fair enough about the article, but I've got absolutely no idea who's editing it... some advice for you (if you want to agree with the content of the article more) is to read through Wikipedia's key policies (WP:N, WP:V, WP:NOR, WP:BLP). If you find anything on Wikipedia that blatantly disagrees with any of those policies, it can be removed, no questions asked. And every administrator and experienced editor on the site will support you in those decisions, provided they're correct. Hope this helps, somewhat αlεxmullεr 15:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Care to lend a hand?

I've reverted a vandal over at Video CD several times, noticed you did too. I'm at my 3 reverts, don't want to go over that. The IP has once again changed the article. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 16:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done and blocked for 31 hours by Trusilver... hope this helps, and thanks for the tip-off :) αlεxmullεr 16:54, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I appreciate it. AtaruMoroboshi (talk) 17:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback Request

I would like Rollback so that I can use huggle more efficiently for dealing with vandalism on Wikipedia Dolphonia (talk) 20:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done as you can be trusted with it... make sure to read through the page and only use it for obvious vandalism αlεxmullεr 20:29, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very useful and working perfectly - Dolphonia (talk) 20:39, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
