The mainstay opponent of the well-known Harlem Globetrotters for years, the Washington Generals were best known for their spectacular losing streaks in exhibition games. All this came to an abrupt end in 1995 when the Generals' organization was aquired by well known insurance mogul and "man about town" Barney Moore. He removed them from the exhibition circuit and the generals never again played the Globetrotters. Now, after a serious rebuilding period, Moore has re-launched this exhibition team under a new name and plans to bring their unique losing style to courts and fantasy leagues throughout the world.
