If you want to redesign an existing infobox, first bring it up on the appropriate WikiProject.

If you want to create a new infobox, look through the list of infoboxes at Wikipedia:Infobox, find an infobox whose subject is similar to the one you want to create, and copy it to start the design of your new infobox. Try to keep the design of your infobox similar to infoboxes with similar subject matter.

If you create a new infobox, or change an existing one, make sure that the latest version is shown at Wikipedia:Infobox. If there is a corresponding WikiProject, please place a link to the WikiProject next to the infobox on Wikipedia:Infobox.
