Hello, NickBush24, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your question at Wikipedia:Clueless Newbies, and I'm not sure what you mean. Would you mind giving me an example? Anyways, here are some basics to deal with vandalism. If you see clear vandalism, you can revert it by clicking on the "history" tab, clicking on the date and time of the most recent non-vandalised version, then editing that page. (make sure to put something like "rv vandalism" in the edit history) You can report vandalism in progress at WP:VIP, and if a situation requires immediate action, you can report the user/IP at WP:AIV. In fact, I am acutally under doctors orders to edit Wikipedia; I had a nasty depressive bout in June, and the Wiki was one of the contacts to society I maintained, so my psych said I have to edit every day! Status indicator

Hey Nick, I saw your "status indicator" on your userpage; I created two icons for my page the other day; they look like this:

I'm in.

I'm out.

What I did was create a subpage "/Status" then post one, save it with the edit summary "Out", then edit the page, put in the other one and save it with the edit summary "In" that way, when I come & go, I just go to the /Status page and use the "revert" proceedure to change one to the other.

I have it linked via template {{User:Essjay/Status}} on my userpage and talk page, so that it is a semi-automatic change; all I have to do is purge the server cache and it appears. (It's a lot simpler to use the template scheme; it would get old copying one table back and forth.) You can use a link like this: Purge Server Cache on your page to make sort work of it: change the /Stauts page, click purge on your user page, click purge on your talk page, and out you go!
