Lang Whitaker is the current online editor of SLAM Magazine's SLAMonline.com website. Whitaker is a regular contributor to SLAM Magazine, a basketball magazine that covers the preps to the pros.... In late 2004, Whitaker began to write weekly columns for Sports Illustrated and its website SI.com. He lives in New York, is married, has a dog named Starbury, and is filled with self importance. He has written for the Atlanta Journal Constitution' and attended the University of Georgia'. He is a diehard Atlanta Hawks' fan and is waiting impatiently for them to sign Joe Johnson.
