Lucas Rodrigo Biglia (born 30 January 1986) is an Argentine footballer, currently playing for RSC Anderlecht.

He has been touted as one of the stars to watch out for in the 2010 World Cup. Biglia has been capped for the Argentina Under-20 team where he won the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship alongside Barcelona's star Lionel Messi

He is a player often compared to Andrea Pirlo due to the way he plays the game. Biglia has a good passing range and positional sense and appears to have a good head on his shoulders. The reason he chose for subtop team like Anderlecht instead of one of europes big teams is that he wanted guaranteed first team football with the added bonus of playing in the UEFA Champions League while doing this and also building a name for himself rather than sitting on the bench. As a result, he has been a regular fixture in the Anderlecht starting XI, alonside 2007 Czech recruit Jan Polák.

Lucas Biglia was chosen as the best player of the season 06/07 by the Anderlecht fans[citation needed].
