America's Next Top Model
Fatima came into the competition with a story to tell and a chance to inspire others. She placed third in the America's Next Top Model, Cycle 10. Her looks were often praised and compared to Supermodel Iman. She received three first call-outs, but four bottom two appearances, the same amount as winner Whitney Thompson. She won one challenge, in which she received 50 extra frames. Fatima was criticized for not being able to take direction well. She was given a long, brown weave as part of her makeover. Fatima missed a photo shoot, to be able to get her passport in which she lost in Atlanta that almost cost her the competition, where she landed in the bottom two with Stacy Ann. But her past performances saved her. She is the second girl to miss a photoshoot and be able to move on to the competition, the first being Shannon Stewart of Cycle 1. Fatima is also the first girl to miss a photoshoot in ANTM history to be kept over someone who had taken the shoot.
