Potomac Mills is a super-regional shopping mall in Woodbridge, Virginia in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. It is located near Interstate 95 between Smoketown Road, Telegraph Road, and the Prince William Parkway.

The mall was the first in the Mills Corporation's chain of shopping malls, and has over 225 retailers and an 18-screen AMC movie theater. According to the Virginia Tourism Corp., Potomac Mills is the 10th most popular tourism site in the state. In 2004-2005, the mall went through a renovation that was completed on September 20, 2005, which was also the mall's 20th anniversary. The new style of the building is brighter and more inviting. The number of neighborhoods have been reduced from nine to five. Six of the nine main mall entries have newer, modern, wavy arches that has the words "POTOMAC MILLS", but no longer have the mall's circular logo. The mall's current neighborhoods are themed by the different regions of Virginia's landscape: Mountain, Valley, Hill, Plain, and Coast.

Potomac Mills is the largest single-floor mall in the state of Virginia. and the second largest mall in the D.C. area, behind Tysons Corner Center.

In fall 2008, the Potomac Town Center will be opening near the mall. It is owned by Lerner Enterprises and StreetSense, however, it was first managed by the Mills Corporation until the demise of the company. It is expected to have Macy's, smaller shops and residential apartments.

Anchors

The mall features anchor stores, listed below. Previous anchor stores included Daffy's, Frugal Fannie's, IKEA (which moved outside of the mall), Spiegel Outlet, Sun & Ski, SYMS, and Waccamaw Pottery.
