Synopsis

Ajay (Salman Khan) is an orphan. He is adopted by Hawaldar (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) because of which his wife (Farida Jalal) , Shanta (Rohini Hattangadi) and daughter leave him. He raises Ajay. Ajay attempts to help his friend, Shlokh (Atul Agnihotri), get married to Pooja, who is the daughter of a wealthy industrialist (Saeed Jaffri). He does succeed in getting Shlokh to meet Pooja's dad, and assuring him that Shlokh will be rich soon. Ajay then goes gambling, and wins a lot of dough so that Shlokh and Pooja can start their lives, but is shunned by Shlokh's mother, and asked to leave. His guardian, Havaldar, finds out about his gambling bout, which has angered local gangsters, and beats him severelly, and asks him to go live elsewhere. Ajay finally explodes out. He destroys the local gangsters at the cost of his own life.
