Rasim Ljajić is the minister for nationalities and human rights of Serbia and Montenegro. He was born in 1964 in Novi Pazar. He is a medical graduate. In 1990 he was elected Secretary General of the Democratic Action Party of Sandžak. He became minister for nationalities and human rights in 2000.
