Overview

The automatically generated list below contains suggestions to turn red links into blue ones by looking at initials in middle names. It was generated on 30th June 2005 form the 23rd June 2005 database dump.

How do I use this list?

Pick any suggestion for an alternate target for a red link from the list below. If the suggested target is sensible, go ahead and fix it. This can be done by either changing the originating article or, if what links here shows several other red links pointing to the same missing article, by adding a redirect. Do this by putting

#REDIRECT [[target article]] {{R from alternate spelling}}

all on the first line of the new article.

If the suggested target is a disambiguation page, it is helpful to change the link to something more specific if possible.

To keep the list tidy, remove suggestions that were correct and have been dealt with. Remove sections that no longer contain any lines. If you couldn't repair the link and the suggestion is incorrect, strike it out and add a note saying why. For example:

These will be added to the project's exception list before the list is regenerated, ensuring that they won't be suggested again.

In order to help people find this project, consider including the line below in your edit summaries:

List

This list didn't turn out so well - the heuristic used was badly confused by roman numerals. These have been manually filtered out for now.
