The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 will be in the 54th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Russia, the country that won the 2008 contest which was determined during the final on May 24, 2008.

I^ : Lebanon was suspended from the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005, after refusing to air the Israeli entry. The suspension ends after the 2008 Contest, which means that Lebanon may take part in 2009, but it would require Lebanon to broadcast the Israeli entry.
