However at the all boys’ school he is safe from any harm the nun Sister Mary Angela keep him well take and care of and as happy as can be that he is away from Steve. With his mother Rennie he had very poor hygiene. However with the other nuns he is clean as ever with very well kept hygiene and very clean clothes. Otherwise his wounds affect and where’s him down. But he never has to worry about Steve again. Georgie physically let’s see how he changes mentally. Georgie changes mentally on how he thinks about himself for example at school he was marked retarded because he never liked his teacher Miss. Cressman so he never paid attention to her but at the all boy school he was tutor by Mr. Collier he caught on and no longer was called retarded, he knew how to read and many other things. Georgie had much hatred for Miss. Cressmen. Miss. Cressmen was a cruel teacher to Georgie. However with tutor Mr. Collier he liked him because he was kind and understanding. And Georgie was kind and he paid much attention. At first he didn’t know a single word and didn’t know how to read when he was with Miss. Cressmen. On the other side with his tutor Mr. Collier he knew understanding and complicated words. Georgie changed emotionally in many different ways such as when he had no friends with his mother Rennie Burgess, he had no friends because he was called retarded. On the other hand at the all boys’ school he made many friends. And before with Rennie nobody cared about his rose bush now at the all boys’ school everybody cares about his rosebush. When Steve gave Georgie all those wounds ever since then he was scared to tell anyone about what he did until he told his friend named Timothy. Timothy is another boy at the all boy school who understands Georgie. Georgie meets a young boy named Robin who cannot speak, except for a few words that Paul (his so called brother) and Georgie encourage him.
