Lautaro Acosta (born March 14 1988, in Glew, Almirante Brown Partido) is an Argentine football midfielder/striker. He currently plays for Club Atlético Lanús of the Primera Division Argentina.

Acosta came through the youth system at Lanús to make his professional debut in 2006. He is quickly becoming an important part of the first team due to the fact that Lanús are a club that often sell their best players.

In 2007 Acosta was picked to join the Argentina Under-20 squad to compete in the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay. He headed the only goal in the last game against Uruguay to secure Argentina's qualification for both 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2008 Olympic Games.

Later in 2007 he was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2007 U-20 World Cup title in Canada.

Acosta was part of the Lanús squad that won the Apertura 2007 tournament, the clubs first ever top flight league title.

According to the Spanish Sports newspaper 'Marca' dated May 29 Acosta signed for Spanish team Sevilla CF for a reported fee of 7 million Euros subject to a medical.
