Jive Jones

Jive Jones (born August 30, circa 1980) is an innovative producer, singer, songwriter and musician from Miami, Florida. He has worked with Mandy Moore, Anastacia, PM Dawn , Biohazard, . Jive's musical style has been described by some as a cross between Prince and Lenny Kravitz. He released his debut solo album in 2001 entitled Me, Myself, and I on Jive Records. The album's title track and another notable single "I Belong", a guitar driven love song, are the tracks from his album that have gained much fan praise. Jive has experienced fame on an international level and is reportedly working on a follow up to his first album.

Jive has written songs for the group Innosense ("Ride" & "www.fan-ta.see"), Anastacia ("Cowboys and Kisses") and Mandy Moore ("Candy"). He co-hosted the 2002 MTV game show "I Bet You Will" alongside recording artist turned actress Willa Ford, filmmaker/actor Morgan Spurlock (who went on to direct and star in the documentary "Super Size Me"), and comedian Godfrey. He also made a cameo appearance in Willa Ford's Christmas themed music video from the MTV: TRL Christmas album in 2001 called "Santa Baby (Gimme, Gimme, Gimme)". R&B singer Ray J and comedian Horatio Sanz made an appearance in the video as well.

Currently, Jive Jones resides in New York City.
