The Iomega Corporation (NYSE: IOM) is a supplier of portable computer storage devices and media. The corporation, established in 1980, has 208 employees. Iomega is headquartered in San Diego, California, with other offices in Utah, Singapore, and Switzerland. Their best-known products have been the Zip and Jaz drives.
On April 8 2008, EMC Corporation announced[1] its plans to acquire Iomega.
