This is a list of members of the Philadelphia Baseball Wall of Fame. From 1978 to 2003, the Phillies inducted one former Phillies figure and one other notable person from the Philadelphia Athletics organization each year (with the exception of 1983). Once Veterans Stadium closed in 2003, the wall plaques used to recognize the members were moved to Citizens Bank Park; however, the Phillies no longer induct notable Athletics. In March 2004, the Athletics' plaques were relocated to the Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society in Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

Centennial Team

In 1983, rather than induct a player to the Wall of Fame, the Phillies selected their All-Centennial Team, to commemorate the players of the first 100 years in franchise history. Though consisting mainly of modern-era players, possibly due to the Phillies' world championship three years earlier, the team includes players from several eras in Phillies history.

Footnotes

  • a Though several players on this list played for both Philadelphia clubs, they were inducted for, and are listed with, the club with which they had arguably the largest impact.
  • b The position column is listed as follows – P: pitcher; C: catcher; 1B: first baseman; 2B: second baseman; SS: shortstop; 3B: third baseman; OF: outfielder (all 3 positions); MGR: manager; GM: general manager; EXEC: team executive; CO: coach; TV: team sportscaster.
  • An asterisk (*) denotes that the player's number has been retired by his respective team. The Athletics have not retired any numbers from those who played their careers in Philadelphia.
