List of storms named Katrina
The name Katrina has been used for three tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, and three tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. It was used in the Pacific on the old four-year lists.
Atlantic:
- 1981's Hurricane Katrina
- 1999's Tropical Storm Katrina - struck the exact same area as Hurricane Mitch a year earlier, but caused little damage.
- 2005's Hurricane Katrina - currently active; earliest forming 11th storm ever, formed over the Bahamas, currently forecast to strike the Florida peninsula.
