Samuel David Jenkins (born February 17, 1987) is a soccer player from New Zealand who currently plays for Western Suburbs.

Sam Jenkins is a New Zealand football player that currently plays for Western Suburbs in the NZ Central League. He grew up in Napier, New Zealand with his family, Mum (Jude), his late father (Dave) and his younger sister Chloe. He attended Porrit Primary School, Tamatea Intermediate and Napier Boys High School where he excelled at both cricket and soccer. He has represented his country at the Under 17, Under 20 and New Zealand A Level. He was part of the New Zealand Under 20 Squad at the 2007 Under Fifa World Cup in Canada where he started all 3 of New Zealands matches. He has scored 7 international goals for New Zealand including the wining goal on debut against Australia in a 1-0 win in 2006. More recently was selected for the New Zealand Under 23 Team that will travel to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
