Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary for Australian wildlife was opened on the site of Expo '88 in the South Bank Parklands, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Unfortunately, during subsequent alterations at the South Bank Parklands both the 'Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary' and the 'Bufferfly House' were closed. Also gone are the canals, bridges and launches.

Here are a few photos taken at 'Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary'. The photo of the Australian bird was taken in the outside section of 'Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary', while the photos of both the Ringtail Possum, and Golden Brushtail Possum, were taken in the nocturnal section of 'Gondwana Rainforest Sanctuary'.
