can somebody confirm koechlin's name? some sources call him charles louis eugène, others charles-louis-eugène... --Lenthe 13:41, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Charles Louis Eugène, without the hyphens, is correct. The entry needs comprehensive upgrading. --Cenedi

however, the Πin his name was correct. the digraph is not interchangeable with oe in French (if I'm not mistaken?). the article's title should be koechlin to reflect the most common spelling in English, the first line should reflect his exact name. --Lenthe 7 July 2005 15:52 (UTC)

KOECHLIN, Charles (Louis, Eugène) should be used. The spelling used in the (large) family, even in French, does not include Œ nor œ. Please note that we pronounced it KÉKLIN with the same vowel sounds as in pépin.

Marc LERIQUE, grandson of the composer and representative of his family.
