Paul Mus

Paul Mus (1902 - 1969) was a French author and scholar. His studies focused on Vietnam and other Southeast Asia cultures.

He was born in Bourges to an academic family, and grew up in both Southeast Asia and France. He served as an officer in Vietnam in World War II, and then served as a government advisor until the French pull-out. He later served as a professor at Yale University. He has written widely on Buddhism and comparative linguistics.
