UPM Medicine and Health Sciences (UPM FMHS) is a reputable medical school in Malaysia, affiliated with Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Located in Serdang for its pre clinical studies and Kuala Lampur for its clinical posting. It was founded in 1996, and currently trains 1500 students in the medical and health sciences field.

Its students rank among the very top one percent in Malaysia's national ranking entrance exams for universities. The cut off point to enter medicine course is nothing less than CGPA of 4.00 ( which is the perfect score). It's medicine course is fully recognized by the Malaysia Medical Association MAA. [1]

History

UPM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences was established on 1st August 1996 as a result of the merger of The Bio-Medical Department of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science with the Nutrition and Community Health Department of the Faculty of Human Ecology. Currently, there are 1500 full-time students in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
