The article needs to be wikified. It also starts off assuming that the reader knows what it is...might I suggest the following start to the leader paragraph:
- Death and the Maiden is a song composed in 1817 by Franz Schubert. The lyrics to the song are derived from a poem written by Claudius.
The bulk of the article seems to be about it's musical composition and timings, etc. This should all go in a section headed Composition to make this clearer. The bit about it's uses in other media (the film, etc.) could go in another section, at the bottom; Other Media or something similar. Consider adding a See Also section with links to Franz Schubert, and any similar works of his or others. A link to a MIDI file could go in an External Links section.
These are some ideas to get you going. Rob Church Talk | Desk 20:13, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't make it clear; if you want any help, just shout. Rob Church Talk | Desk 20:14, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
