Jan Mostaert (c. 14751555/56) was a Dutch painter of portraits and religious subjects.

Mostaert was apprenticed to Geertgen tot Sint Jans and lived in Haarlem most of his life. He worked as portraitist for Margaret of Austria, Regent of the Netherlands.

Some paintings once attributed to him are now attributed to Adriaen Isenbrant.
