Warner Bros. Television is an American television production and distribution company, and is a subsidiary of Time Warner's Warner Bros. Entertainment. The division was started in 1955. In 1989, it acquired Lorimar-Telepictures. Telepictures was later absorbed into WBTV's distribution unit, and in 1990, came back as a TV syndication production company. In 1993, Lorimar Television was absorbed into WBTV.
