New Invention is an area of the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, West Midlands, England. It is a fairly small housing estate sitauted between Bloxwich and Wednesfield on the A4124.

The main shopping area is a small square surround by shops on three sides. Several pubs in the locality include The Crown & Sceptre and The Milestone.
