Marques Tuiasosopo
Marques Tuiasosopo (born March 22, 1979 in Seattle, Washington) is an American football quarterback. He currently plays for the NFL's Oakland Raiders.
Marques Tuiasosopo is the son of standout NFL defensive tackle Manu Tuiasosopo. Marques played college football for the University of Washington, leading the team to a Rose Bowl victory in 2001. In 1999 against Stanford University, Tuiasosopo became the only player in NCAA history to pass for over 300 yards and run for over 200 yards in a single game.
Tuiasosopo was drafted in the 28th round of the 1997 Major League Baseball Draft by the Minnesota Twins, but did not play for the team.
Since being drafted by the Raiders in the 2001 NFL Draft, Tuiasosopo has played sparingly. He has typically served as the 2nd or 3rd-string quarterback for the team, and has appeared in just eight regular season games.
