Yishun

Yishun, or Nee Soon as it was originally named, is a neighbourhood in the northern part of the city-state of Singapore.

Library

The newly renovated one level Yishun Community Library is located at Yishun Street 22. It is the only library in the Yishun area. The library caters to the different needs of the Yishun population. It has books for children and adults, computers and magazines for browsing.

Other information

Yishun Swimming Complex is a 5-minute walk from Yishun Junior College. Northpoint, the only shopping center in Yishun, is located just beside Yishun MRT. Chong Pang is a suburb in Yishun, where plenty of stalls sell things at bargain prices, such as clothes and traditional food.

Yishun Industrial Park

There is a small industrial park situated between Avenue 6 & 7 which comprises some well known companies such as Murata, Maxtor, Agilent, ATS, ASM-Frontend, STATS & many other smaller companies. It can be reached by Bus no. 811 from the Yishun Bus Interchange.
