Moguera
Moguera (モゲラ - Mogera) is a fictional robot monster featured in two of Toho's science fiction films.
The robot is named for mogura (the Japanese word for mole).

In the 1959 tokusatsu film, The Mysterians, Moguera is an alien weapon used by the Mysterians to assist in destroying humanity to make them bend to their will and supply them with a suficient amount of land and women. It attacked a small village with its eye blasts, but was destroyed when the bridge it was standing on collapsed.
A second Moguera appeared as the Markalite beam cannons assaulted the Mysterians' base. This Moguera tried to destroy one of the Markalites by burrying underneath it, but the weapon fell on top of it, crushing and destroying the second Moguera.
MOGERA
The second incarnation, known as MOGERA, appeared in Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla as a U.N.-built robot to fight Godzilla.
MOGERA has a mass arsenal of weapons, including a powerful chest cannon, Spiral Grenade Missiles, eye lasers, and numerous other attacks. He can fly at Mach 1, but once in outer space, he can reach speeds of up to Mach 44. MOGERA consists of two vehicles, Land Mogera, a vehicle with the ability to drill through the earth, and the Star Falcon, an extremely fast, jet-like craft. It encounters SpaceGodzilla in an asteroid field in deep space, in an attempt to slay the creature before it lands on Earth. MOGERA was soundly defeated by SpaceGodzilla, and descended back to Earth extremly damaged. After some repairs, he was sent into battle against SpaceGodzilla again, forming a reluctant alliance with Godzilla in the process. MOGERA eventually shattered both of SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals, but was damaged beyond repair by the alien beast. His damaged remains were then completely destroyed by Godzilla's red ray.
MOGERA is an acronym for Mobile Operations Godzilla Expert Robotic Areotype. An alternate version of his name is MOGUERA, with the "U" standing for "Universal."
MOGERA later appeared in the video game Godzilla: Save the Earth.
