SpaceWorld is a video game trade show hosted by Nintendo. Unlike most of the other big game trade events, SpaceWorld is not held annually or any other set interval; Nintendo usually makes a decision to hold the show or not by mid-July. It is typically held to unveil new consoles or handhelds. It has historically always taken place inside Japan, in either kyoto (where Nintendo is headquartered) or Tokyo.

The last SpaceWorld occurred in 2001. It is speculated that another SpaceWorld will be held in 2005 for the formal unveiling of Nintendo's next console, the Revolution.
