4Frontiers Corporation
4Frontiers Corporation is a space commerce company, founded in mid 2005, focused on the settlement of Mars. Its major focus is in developing systems to take advantages of what it calls the inner solar system economy (the economic zone of Earth, the Moon, Mars, and the main asteroid belt).
Current Plans:
4Frontiers is currently in the beginning stages of developing a replica of what it believes a commercial mars settlement will look like. Unlike previous test settlements it will not be located a long way away from civilization but will instead be located near a major city, thus giving everyone the opportunity to visit and see for them selves what it could be like. 4Frontiers plans to use this project as an attraction to fund its developments in settlement systems. In this way it is using a business plan similar to Starchaser Industries, a British rocket company.
Future Goals:
4Prontiers much publicized ultimate goal is the colonization of mars and to be a major player in the inner solar system economy.
