Retired schoolteacher living in Yorkshire. Very keen on the history of postage stamp issues and relying on my friend BlackJack, who is a computer wizard, to help me load my stuff onto here, as computers are not really my scene!

I used to teach Modern European History so naturally I am happy to look at any articles that touch on my speciality. Whether I will contribute remains to be seen as I have a lot on my plate helping Jack out with the philately project (see banner above).

Apart from that, I'm happily married and we have a cat. I support the grand old sport of Rugby Football, that being "real" rugby with forwards and tackling, not the alternative. I also like to watch cricket and I like motor cycle racing, having been a keen "biker" myself for many years.
