Tyson Meade

Tyson Todd Meade is best known as the singer, songwriter, and guitar player for Defenestration and the Chainsaw Kittens. His creative career has also included the roles of solo musician, painter, and disc jockey. Born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Meade currently resides in New York City.

Meade performed in summer 2005 under a new band name Halston (also featuring members of the Starlight Mints) at VZD's in Oklahoma City. He was joined by Kittens mainstays Trent Bell and Eric Harmon in the closing set. Several Kittens songs were performed throughout the night.
