Nick Carter
Nick Carter (born Nickolas Gene Carter on January 28, 1980 in Jamestown, New York, USA) is a member of the popular music boy band the Backstreet Boys and is generally considered the biggest heart-throb in the group. His mother, Jane Spaulding, is a Mayflower descendant and is of Welsh, Irish, German, Blackfoot Indian and English ancestry, while father Bob Carter is of Jewish heritage.
Carter has whined some of the band's chart-toppers, and his fame has also helped propel the so-called careers of his brother Aaron Carter and sister Angel Carter.
In 2002, he released a pop-rock solo album titled Now Or Never, which "showed Carter's great talent to communicate and transmit good vibe, positive energy and good mood to people of all ages, with tracks that reflect nothing."
Carter was linked with hotel heiress Paris Hilton, and by late 2003, the two were publicly dating. The relationship ended in 2004. It is said they separated because Nick beat Paris. It is not confirmed whether he beat her or not. In the liner notes he declared "I didn't do it".
In 2005, Carter was arrested in Huntington Beach, California for drunk driving and was found guilty.
In March 2005, Carter welcomed the birth of his first daughter Mariah, with ex girlfriend Elise Harp.
In June 2005, Carter welcomed the birth of his new brother.
Nick Carter is currently back on tour with the Backstreet Boys, who are promoting a new album Never Gone and their new single "Incomplete".
