HELP

You wrote on my talk page about recent vandalism. I'm currently using a different network than i normally use. I will try to sort out the person stealing my IP address, but please do not block me from editiing wikipedia. Besides from this IP address i also edit under the username kiwiboy121. I've been properly editing wikipedia for a long time, so please give me a day to sort out the vandalism of my IP address.64.246.138.38 (talk) 13:06, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You see this is also me, and i have not edited any of the articles you claim that i have vandalized. Kiwiboy121 (talk) 13:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008 (good / neutral notes)

Hey Epbr123: I noticed that you've been going around places reverting edits and such but not declaring vandalism as much as you would probably need to, according to Wikipedia policy. Here, try using Wikipedia:Twinkle. It's a set of "short-cut" buttons that you can add to Wikipedia that can speed up your daily activities of editing and polishing, and, of course, to get rid of those spammers and vandalizers the proper way. Enjoy! Neil the Cellist (talk) 15:33, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi. Thanks for your message. I was using another anti-vandal tool, WP:Huggle, which creates the edit summaries automatically. I think there's an assumption that if you revert using rollback, which Huggle does, then it would have been because of vandalism, so it therefore isn't necessary to mention vandalism in the edit summary. Someone doesn't like you (not me)

Hi, Epbr. I just noticed this, but it looks like this IP user dislikes you, and this isn't the only time someone has made a personal attack on their talk page against you. :-) SchfiftyThree 20:03, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So I hear you've got a good eye for formatting errors... How would you like to help me out? I recently nominated Candide for FAC and Awadewit, a reviewer, has criticised the article for not complying with the MOS. She recommended I seek out someone who could give the matter a look-see. Would you be willing? -- Rmrfstar (talk) 17:23, 9 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks a bunch! -- Rmrfstar (talk) 10:19, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have assessed this article as Stub class. Looking at the criteria in WP:STUB I'm not sure that it is really a stub. You are probably aware of the Croughton-London rule, which seems sensible to me. Seacourt was always a small place, and I don't think there's much more to say about it. It could probably do with a location map, but probably not a photo (of an empty field?), but I would not have thought their absence alone makes it a stub.Mhockey (talk) 13:59, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another FAC whiner needing help

Hello, I'm getting beat up over missing and misplaced commas with my FAC nomination for U.S. Route 491. I have asked other copyeditors, as I've already abused your willingness before =-), but they have so far not responded. If you have a minute could you redeem my english skills? Dave (talk) 18:18, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I see from your barnstars page you've worked on Ima Hogg. I've nominated U.S. Route 491 to be the featured article for April Fools Day 2009. That's my primary motivation. All at the U.S. Roads wikiproject think this would be a good candidate, wouldn't mind an opinion from somebody whose worked on an April Fools Day Featured Article before =-). Thanks again. Dave (talk) 18:20, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, thank you. You work fast! This is my second FAC that you've helped me one. With luck, I'm getting better, and won't get slammed for grammar on my third. =-) Dave (talk) 04:45, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Audio sample

Would you be able to make a sample of this track, I'm planning to take the article to GA at some point. The only album you can find the track on is the double disk album HIStory. Would appreciate any help, I don't know anyone else you does audio samples properly. — Realist2 20:16, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I knock upon thy door, hat in hand...

desperately needing your expertise in formatting.

Burger King legal issues is my preferred article and you expertise has come highly recommended from others who for now, will remain nameless.

If you could help bring this to FA quality it would be gratefully appreciated.

--Jeremy ( Blah blah...) 21:11, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help and time on fixing all those small things I missed. I thought it would be much worse than it was. --Jeremy ( Blah blah...) 15:50, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mos issues

Hi. If you have the time, could you please take a look at Literature in the Hoysala Empire and see if there are any MoS issues. The article has seen a fairly leangthy PR and I think most issues may have been ironed out by now.Dineshkannambadi (talk) 22:34, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contribution.Dineshkannambadi (talk) 17:13, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another coypedit, another FA

The Utah State Highways Barnstar
The Utah Highways Wikiproject has 2 FA's now, both times you stepped up to the plate for a last minute copyedit. Thanks, you now know more about roads then you ever hoped you would. =-) Dave (talk) 02:50, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another FAR S.O.S.

You name came up here as a user whom I might be able to impose upon to help fix some errors in logical punctuation on the page Iowa class battleship. If you get a chance, would you consider looking at the article and fixing any problems you encounter? I would apreciate it. TomStar81 (Talk) 21:38, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The WikiChevrons
For contributing to the Iowa class battleship FAR and helping the article maintain its bronze star I herby award you the WikiChevrons. Thanks for your help, I apreciate it. TomStar81 (Talk) 00:21, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting a Featured Article candidate

Hi User:Epbr123. User:SandyGeorgia recommended you as someone who could help out with copyediting an article I've put up for FA, specifically in helping out with "ellipses and punctuation on logical quotation". If you have a chance, would you mind taking a look at Congregation Baith Israel Anshei Emes. Jayjg (talk) 01:26, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Epbr123...I was hoping that you could take a look at this article. It could use the evaluation, and I could use the experience.

Thanks, --Starstriker7(Say hior see my works) 14:42, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:SandyGeorgia has informed me that you are good in tackling MOS issues. Can you please MOS-edit Mangalore. It failed its FAC last time because it mixed Cite xxx templates with citation templates and due to some overlinking issues. Take your own time since it has been currently listed at PR. Thanks, Kensplanet (talk) 17:06, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your excellent Copy edits. If there's something you would like to suggest regarding MOS or style or anything, then please do direct them on my Talk Page. Thanks again, Kensplanet (talk) 12:06, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clyda Rosen

I can't believe the hairy pussy defense did its job. Morbidthoughts (talk) 01:28, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Epbr123, per the suggestion at the Pat Nixon FAC, could you give the article an overlinking copyedit? User:Tony1 says there are a bit too many links and I think some fresh eyes could be useful. Best as always, Happyme22 (talk) 08:41, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! --Happyme22 (talk) 03:50, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Epbr123. I've come here after hearing a lot about your copy editing ability. Since we haven't met before, I feel sheepish to ask if you could help me with copy editing this article. The article is currently listed at WP:FILMS and is currently undergoing A-class review. I was hoping to have this article on the FAC once this review is complete. In the meanwhile, with time permitting, could you please assist me with copy editing? Thanks in anticipation. Mspraveen (talk) 15:58, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suggesting Changes to Milton Friedman Article

I've requested a reassessment of the good article status of the Milton Friedman article based on lack of neutrality, and have added a POV tag to the article. Please join the discussion, if you are interested. Thanks. Jdstany (talk) 03:19, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While reverting some vandalism, I saw your reverts to this article. Whilst attempting to move the article to correct the capitalization error, I discovered that there is already a page for this person, which is a redirect. The current page, with the improperly capitalized last name should be deleted then, yes? Your thoughts? ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:32, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
