The Flying Dragon is a lizard that lives in rainforests in Asia and the East Indies. It can spread out folds of skin attached to it's movable ribs to form "wings" that it uses to glide from tree to tree, even over 25ft. It's wings are brightly colored with orange, red and blue spots and stripes. When the wings are folded the flying dragons wing provide camoflage. It can exceed lengths as long as 19 - 23 cm. It feeds on arboreal ants and termites. During breeding season the female flying dragon will venture down to the forest floor and bury it's 1-5 eggs in the soil. Flying dragons are oviparous.
